Hello,

This is a reminder of the invitation that was sent to you on January 9th, 2023, regarding the participation in the study that we, Shaimaa Ali, Leon Nasehi and Matthew Temniuk, are conducting.

Briefly, the study involves asking you to identify any concepts that you learned (or tried to learn) during your undergraduate studies of Software Engineering or Computer Science that would match one of the criteria of a threshold concept. The five criteria are named as follows, transformative, troublesome, irreversible, integrative and bounded. You'll find a brief description of each criterion as part of the corresponding question in the questionnaire.

You'll be asked to fill in an online questionnaire that has five questions, each of which is anticipated to take 5 - 10 minutes. You'll be entered into a draw to win one of five 50-dollar Amazon gift cards. We are offering one gift card per question, so if you answer all the questions, you'll have five chances to be selected in the draw.

Students of Software Engineering or Computer Science are the only group that will be included, and irrelevant answers will be excluded.

You'll have a chance to win a 50 dollars Amazon gift card for each of the questions (i.e. there are five gift cards in total)

The questionnaire will be ending this Tuesday, January 31st, 2023.
