The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here—applications for the Ivey HBA Program<https://www.ivey.uwo.ca/hba/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=computer-science&utm_campaign=hba-app-open> are officially open to university students! Before you hit apply, here’s what you need to know:



Admissions requirements:

Applicants must have completed years one and two at Western or any other university.

Pursue any course of study at any university and ensure that you:

  *   Maintain a full course load over two years of university (equivalent to 10.0 Western credits).
  *   Achieve a minimum average of 70% in 10.0 university credits completed including Business 2257. (see equivalents<https://www.ivey.uwo.ca/media/xj0h2z25/business_2257_april_19_2024.pdf?utm_medium=email&utm_source=computer-science&utm_campaign=hba-app-open>)
  *   Complete a secondary school mathematics course for students bound for university or an equivalent.
  *   Complete Western's Business 2257 course OR equivalent. View a list<https://www.ivey.uwo.ca/media/xj0h2z25/business_2257_april_19_2024.pdf?utm_medium=email&utm_source=computer-science&utm_campaign=hba-app-open> of accepted equivalents.
  *   Achieve a minimum grade of 70% in Business 2257 OR equivalent.

A competitive Ivey HBA application includes:

  *   Candidates need to demonstrate leadership in extracurricular activities, community involvement, and work experience
  *   80%+ average on 10.0 full credits (or the equivalent) at any university (if at another university, these courses must be acceptable to transfer to Western). The minimum average to transfer to Western is 70%. The average needed for admission to Ivey HBA may be much higher.
